Hey peeps, What a week!!! Wow! Thursday night I went to go and see one of my favorite bands play!! Linkin Park! They were out of this world...absolutely incredible! They deserved the award they won at the EMA's this year, for the best live act 2010. The 02 was packed and by the end of it everyone was head banging and singing out to all the lyrics! It was by far the best live gig I have ever been to and one of the best memories I'll ever have. I would love to perform or duet with Linkin Park they are such a talented band ^_^ I have been so busy lately with interviews and other things that the past three weeks have just whizzed by! I'll miss my lil lie USTREAM video chats every Wednesday but perhaps I'll be able to do a US Edition? That would be fun "hey peeps just bringing some love to my special little tweetlets from New Mexico / Colorado / Houston / CA" lol would be pretty awesome! lol I am really excited to be flying out to the US for just over three weeks, I have a feeling that I wont want to come back! lol Logan (my boyfriend) and I will be taking lots of awesome pics, which I'll put up on twitter and on Facebook for all to see! I leave on Tuesday morning at 5:45am! With all this excitement I feel like a buzzing bee zooming around the house trying to get everything ready lol It will be really nice to be in ABQ (Albuquerque) because at the moment they have clear blue skies and pure sunshine... although it wont be that hot, the weather wont be as miserable as the UK! I think I would rather have snow than the rain and gloomy skies we have at the moment! I'll miss all of my special little tweetlets, MySpace munchkins and Facebookaroonies while I'm there but will keep you updated on how I'm doing and what I'm up to ^_^ Thank you again for all your support and emails etc keep them coming to charlieroseonline@yahoo.co.uk as I will still receive them out there! ♥ The Album is FINISHED!!!!!!!!! ♥

WOW I cannot believe that this time has finally arrived!!!!
YAY..... I am so happy that we have finished the album and have had it mastered at Metropolis Studios in London.
This week.... Nu Management and I will be getting ready for the next stages of getting this CD out there!
I promise to keep all of my wonderful little angels (#charliesangels on twitter) up to date with whats going on etc...... Sorry I haven't been online recently like I used to, I have been ooober busy getting my album mastered.
Jon (http://www.myspace.com/jonmannsmith) and I are really excited and happy with how the album has turned out!
I remember when I first wrote the album tracks and how basic they were... Production is such an amazing thing!
Jon has worked so hard in turning the melody and lyrics I gave him into songs with compositions and life!
♥ Thank you SO much Jon for all your hard work, leadership, partnership and friendship during the journey of making this album!!!
I cannot wait to share it with you all so you can see what it is we have been working on so hard for the past two years.

Hey peeps!
Here at the studio everything is going well! We're working on the last track of the album which is really exciting!!! yay
The title of the track is called 'Pray', with Gods leading and your support I believe we can go all the way! yay hehe
Recently with all my physio and resting up I haven't been able to go live on twitcam for a while which I apologise.. I know that some of you have been waiting for ages now!
Promise that I'll be live real soon ;-)
Atm i've been having a craving for cooking lol things like cakes and biscuits but it's just been too hot lately! not that i'm complaining of course....tbh,
I should have been born in the Caribbean or someplace because I could just bask in dry heat all day long! haha
I've been drinking loads and loads of water recently which I'm sure its just a co-incidence but I've actually felt more active and awake! lol
Thanks to simon atkinson for speaking on my behalf.....regarding people asking too many questions about my personal life.
Don't get me wrong here I'm quite an open person and understand the responsibilities that come with being an artist but It's not fair on the other people it involves ie my partner.

Wow what a week! Lots of exciting stuff going on considering I fractured my knee (patella) last friday! Not good :-S
But still, y myspace is going awesomly It must be said! Last night or rather at 7:58am this morning before it refreshed...we had over 1,430 plays!!!
Usually we hit around 4-500 a day so we completely smashed that one right outta the box!!
Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me on Myspace; It means so much to me knowing that there our people out there who are rooting for me ^_^

I was blessed to be able to take part in a Haiti relief song, alongside other Gospel and Christian artists.
The day was really inspiring down at the famous Abby Road Studios in London.

Music wise, my career is definately starting to take shape... the album sounds great and I am soooo excited as if i've got ants in my pants and I can't wait till you all hear it!

My 21st Birthday was awesome! totally awesome! hehe and later that week i got a really cute cuddly toy from the zoo lol as you do, but i've always wanted to get one from the zoo since i was like 5 haha. Unfortuately recently I had to attend my Grandads funeral which we all knew at the time, was coming :-S

Life

LIFE!
It does amaze me the amount of times we are ungrateful or forget where we are and what we have around us.
Not really talking about things like cars or houses or big earthly 'treasures' but simply the clear air we breath, the fact that most of us have all of our family alive and still with us today, food, clean water to drink from and a comfortable place to sleep at night.
Because we are so used to just keeping heads low and gettin on with 'life' we seem to forget the things we have, and forget about them easilly.
I'm always having to tell myself off when I realise I'm complaining that It's raining outside or that i'm cold when i'm walking around in just a t-shirt!
Not sure why i wanted to write all this, guess it was roaming around in my brain and thought about this site, my virtual online diary.
I wonder if anyone else out there feels the same way as I do? there is always someone better off than we are and yet there are way more people worse off then ourselves.
I'm starting to sound almost depressing! lol not meant to, guess I'm just real and always have been.
Try to keep my feet almost sown into the ground i walk on......... would love to hear what anyone else feels when they read this? if anyone does ever read my random diary extracts? lol
well, must crack on... probably need sleep and coffee!

Hiiii ^_^

Hope everyone had an awesome crimbo (christmas) and have got some plans to celebrate the up and coming new year???
Can't believe we're entering a new decade! completely mental hu?
I remember 10 years ago when the millennium Dome in London opened up to celebrate the year 2000!!! Now 10 years has passed... haha I was 11 in the year 2000.
What an expensive year for the family! I turn 21 in March, Em (sis) turns 25 in March and Steve (bro) turns 30 in May!
lol crazy...... Just been entering in all relevant dates and events in my new diary for this year,
Weird to think that I could be a signed artist and touring my own music soon, let alone being able to perform live!
Can't wait to move to America... I keep having these dreams whereby i'm in my own place in Butte MT.
Have I told you about the three horses I want to have within the years to come... Pure Black Arabian Stallion called Aragorn (Male), White Andalusian called Crystal and my own special palomino pony (Creamy golden body with blonde mane and tail) called Rose.

How beautiful are they??? anyways, I must write off now as It's raining outside and the music I was listening to has finished, think I'm gona change it now to Clannad or Moya Brennan!

Lady

Ahhhhh what a harsh reality to take in, I am no longer going to see my precious dog Lady.
She was one of the young lings we got from the mother whom we got as a Christmas present from our parents.
I was only around 4 years old at the time, and then two years later she gave birth to a whole litter.
Dad asked mum to chose, and of course she picked this pup because at that time, she was the loudest and the biggest of them all.
We named her 'Lady' because of her mannerisms, in the sense that she was such a little madam...always disobedient and misbehaving! lol
Awww bless her tho, she was always the one causing unnecessary problems for herself!
I remember this one time when she leaped up onto our dinning room table and ate all of my sisters birthday cake!... mind you, she was sick for almost a week! lol
As Lady got older, she just slept more and eventually just lazed around the house enjoying the usual daily life.... sleeping in her warm pink blanket covered bed, Eating all the crumbs of the kitchen floor, and always ending up under dads feet!!!!
However, Lady was an amazing listener! Ah the amount of times I needed someone to talk to, she was always around... Probably hated how many times I cried all over her fur! haha But then again, she used to have this warm look in her eyes to show that she understood.
Wow! Lady, I miss you will all of my heart and like I said before...the tears I cry for you don't fall in vain because I loved you and still do.
I am so sorry that I never got to say goodbye properly, and that once again you left without a moments breath.
You were an incredible companion in whose company for a dog will never compare again.
Save me a place next to you and Julie (The mother) in heaven for I am waiting to see you!!!!

Today feels a bit weird, nor sure if it's just the cold i'm fighting off or whether it's a sense in the air????
Need to find out whats with the random people on twitter how have over 5,000 followers when they are just normal people??? as in their job is not in a marketing industry... does this make any sense??? anyways, do people really have that many friends??? crazy, i'm sure there must be a bot that you can buy to collect these followers like myspace, facebook and Bebe have???
crazed, or perhaps it's just cuz i dont have that many haha na joking!
Would like to spend some time reading today.... trying to finish a book by author Joyce Meyer! fabulous woman of God and just very awesome regardless of faith.
The book is called 'The Confident Woman' and surprisingly it's not all about how to be confident in terms of loving yourself but what it means to be confident and how it can effect you and even others around you.
Where trust, loyalty and respect comes into it.
I think i'm definately dealing with what trust and loyalty really means, and if I see that in the friends i already have around me.
Uh life's full of ups and downs, just wish I could put some of the issues behind me and move on without them still in my head! uh!
Must turn in tho, gotta load of friends to catch up with on the Indian Myspace site!

Hey guys,
Wow! feels like almost a lifetime ago since I wrote on here, my online diary as such.
Recovery time has practically finished and back to training started at the beg' of September.....
In the meantime I set up myspace India which has gone down much much much better than I could have anticipated which is fantabulous....
Twitter slowly but surely taking off which is also fab :-D
Can't seem to get past or rather into the servers for China! Would love to be able to say a quick hi here and there on myspace..... guess i understand tho.
Today went to London, me and my aunti spent way too much time in selfridges deciding which had the better clutch purse; Chanel or Chloé??? lol not gud, but the laté and choco brownie slice i later had was nice.... oh the joyfulness of crimbo in the air already in England... the sparkles and happiness in selfridges and pretty much all across london retail stores was so fun!!!
I love christmas so much, for me it's laziness, slobbing out, snow, warm fires, mulled wine and all the food on the earth and as much as you can eat! let alone all the fun festive goodness hehe u can soooo tell I'm feeling it this year! but then to be honest with everyone......... this year it's time for a change, a personal change!
Bring on Christmas in Montana!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emergency Surgery...what REALLY happened

The first week of July, and I was determined more than ever to give everything I had to the completion of my album, and to continue chatting, getting to know my friends on MySpace.

As most of you know, I already had my fare share of ups and downs with colds and flu like symptoms.
When Saturday arrived I still had the linger of what seemed to be the start of yet another possible bug of some sort.
Jon, the producer, was at a wedding and of course like myself; I decided to stay at the studio and work on BV (backing Vocal) arrangements for the last few songs I have left to record.
There was no one else in, as the last person left to go to a BBQ! Funny enough, she asked if I was alright; and once again, I let pride get the better of me and I shrugged it off (putting it down to a minor cold etc...)
Around an hour later, I started to feel very ill and a sharp pain started to stab in my stomach.
I decided to firstly call my mum (gud ol mamma lol) as she used to be a nurse and would know what to do.
I came to the conclusion to call a 'National NHS Helpline', unfortunately down to the increase in Swine Flu symptoms in people, the line was held up for a while.
Eventually, I got through to a doctor, whom managed to get the address and my name off me; before I collapsed!
The next thing, I woke up to Jon, and two paramedics (via ambulance), at the studio and was taken into hospital.
I was totally disorientated and felt like I had been stabbed in the lower stomach!!
Nevertheless, It was not long before I was told that I had to be prepped and ready for surgery in the morning (as it was already late in the night).
I cannot tell you what was going through my mind because to be honest I am not too sure how to put it into words, other than the fact that I had no idea what I had in store!
I had surgery to remove my inflamed appendix that morning, which was only a 46 Minuit procedure.
However, In my mind I was sure that this was just a small tiny operation that was done everyday (which it is).....
But the following days after, I literally felt like I had been hit by a bus! Everywhere ached! I could not sleep properly for weeks a time, eating 'baby food' and taking strong pain killers was just the start.
Stupidly enough I remember the day after I had the surgery (Sunday 5th July) I was actually on my mobile checking MySpace!!
Without going into too much detail I am so thankful that my battery cut out around an hour later because I was very, very Ill from that moment on!!!!
It amazed me, how such a small operation could physically and mentally take soooo much out of you.
I can honestly say that I am now on the serious recovery; but even still, three hours on the computer and I'll start to feel the headaches come back.
Physical Training and Choreography is out for at least two months, let alone swimming and an occasional alcoholic drink.
Nonetheless, through all of this....I have come to see that In actual fact my body and mind have needed this complete rest for so long, I just did not have the strength to take it.
I cannot honestly put into words, how much your words of encouragement, love, concern and most importantly; your prayers, have meant to me these past two months.
Thank you for everything! Praise God I am ok now.

The Release in Poetry

Hey,
Its Crazy to think that the art of poetry has been around for so long,
As a song-writer I've always been into writing my thoughts, feelings and troubles down.
I am actually writing (trying to) a couple of novels that perhaps one day I may consider publishing; who knows???
It's only been the past 5 years though when I have really started writing my own poetry, Funny how my mum named me after Charlotte Bronté... She was known like her sister emily to write poetry but her heart was into writing novels... Her most famous novel was the Jane Eyre Novel....awesome book!
I couldn't write like that even If i wanted to, she had the natural ability to capture the minds of anyone, at least I think she does.
My sister is also called Emily like the Bronté sisters (Emily and Charlotte).
Maybe i might share some of my poetry on here, maybe one day; but not now.
I'm going to go and put my jumper on now cuz I'm cold, take care.

Charles here again hehe....

Can't believe it's been like over a month since I last wrote on here,guess that just proves how mentally busy I've really been.

Don't know about the rest of you who read this, but as for me... I can honestly put hand on heart and say this past month has been quite a challenging month!

Soooo much is going on in terms of my music career and also in my personal life!!!!

Why does every week feel like i have entered into a wormhole??? The week just whizzes past you and leaves you questioning what the flip just happened? and where ALL of the time available went????

Hmmm, anyone else feel that way? If so.... please reply!!!!!!!!

Anyways............ In general I'm feeling much better from the sick bug I recently had so thank you to everyone who was praying and thinking of me :-)

.....The album is drawing to a finish with every week that passes and I am gradually beginning to feel the monster of impatience creeping up behind me to get this show seriously on the road.

I have though been spending a lot of my time learning Bahasa Malay, which is one of the most common Languages in Malaysia.

As I have a great following in Malaysia and seeing as most of them are better at speaking English then I am, I thought it would be an awesome thing to learn and to appreciate their language in return.

The funniest thing is, is that I have picked it up so quickly it has got to the point whereby I can have full conversations with my friends "Fans" and some of them have asked me to teach them how to speak it better too!!!!!! how crazy is that? I'm learning myself and off free Internet translation and grammar sites! lol

I guess whatever works right? Amazingly enough though I seem to have the grammar down to a tea? haha

Wow, I seem to have written quite a lot for today! sorry about that peeps....

Braidy

Hey,
I decided to braid my whole head yeaturday! lol
I thought because I have really long hair it would take me around 3-4 hours, but I alone managed to do it around 2 hours! lol
Jon (Producer) was editing and recording some more amazing electric guitar parts, and I was braiding my hair! haha....
Only around 3 weeks to go now till we hope to have this album completely finished, as the three weeks include mixing and mastering too!
As for me, I am on the recovery.... Still taking my tablets and all.
I have a blood test coming up this week and a dentist appointment! how bad can you get and all in the same week too!!!!!
Nothing really changes in the weather department of this country! - I WANT SUMMER SUN!!!!!!!!! :-(
Anyway, this was just a quick passing through....

Charlie Rose Survival Kit!!!!!!

Hey,

Sorry I haven't been here for a week or so....

Basically I've caught a weird and seriously annonying viral infection :-(

This is really not good.... not only am I walking around feeling like a zombie but no matter what I eat or drink, within two minuits of consuming it, I have really bad tummy pains! what is this? just why? I am having a blood test next week to get to the bottom of this :-(

Let alone the fact I hate blood tests or anything to do with blood, I havn't been able to go to the studio or even get a chance to get online to reply and chat to ppl on my sites....

There's only a couple more weeks to go till this album should be near to finishing and it's just so typical for me to get ill!!!!!! As you can probably tell, I'm not a very happy bunny.

Thought it would be funny to show u my "Survival Kit" this is what i use / am using to help me through this! lol

Ok so we've got English Tea (PG Tips), Variaty of Chick Flick Movies, Smallville series 1-5 (still need to see the rest that are availble), My Bonsai tree, candles, Robin Hood BBC TV Series, Thermo blanket, Mr Teddy (Of Course), Bible (Life support), Hot water bottle, Slippers, Ipod, Special Anti-bacterial Honey (Not Sure how or why), Camomile Tea, Cough Syrup, tissues, Vaseline, Vitamin C tablets, Multi-Vitamins, Pain Killers and last but not least Lucozade Isotonic powder (Made into a drink) lol

Anyways, I'm gona go now and try to reply to some people on the official Mypace, Today I have already replied to everyone on the Malaysian one, I've got to do tagworld peeps too at some point! Must do that!!!!!!

I think it's funny when people assume that life in the studio is always easy because you just open up your mounth and sing or take out the instument from the box and play!
Haha...oh it's just so not like that.
Last night was really hard in parts, we had spent pretty much most of the day working on the preview taster for myspace only to get to the end of our day (22:00pm) for the software to turn around and crash! ahhhhh lol
We had obviously saved it, but it just kept on crashing and not doing what we wanted it too!
In the end we had to remove some of our programs we were using at the time, we guessed it was running too much and crashed! so annoying!!!!
It was the last thing any of us needed, and we just wanted it to work! lol
As you will probably know from listening to it on Myspace, we got it to work in the end....
The track is called "Feel This Way" and it's just a 58 second odd clip, which proves I can actually sing and write good songs! hehe
.....I'm in need of a nice cup of tea again so I'm off now to go and make one!

Subway

Just me again.....

Today I woke up feeling really tierd, and for once in my life I just didn't get out of bed! lol
I couldn't, It turned into a battle between my brain and my body.
My brain was like "Come on Charlie, you know how much work you have to do, You owe it to yourself to get on with it and further your career!" - But then my body was like "Charlie don't listen to your brain, first thing in the morning they never work anyway! besides because you work so hard all the time, what harm would it do to just lay in bed for one more hour " ..... Can you guess who I gave into? Oh yes staying in bed it was! lol
But now I am up and feeling even more tierd so I guess it didn't really work afterall haha...
I really fancy a subway right about now... If you have never had a subway or don't have a subway shop in your town / country.... It is like a fast food baguette shop (All the rolls are really bad for you in terms of the fat content despite the fact they use real fresh salad etc....) But they are amazing!!!!! lol
Must actually get on... We are in the studio again today working on a little music taster for everyone to hear on myspace,tagworld, yahoo etc....and will be on myspace a bit later on in the evening, If anyone fancies a chat :-)

In The Studio

Hey,
It's near enough 3pm and It looks like It's about to pour down with rain outside, miserable weather! :-(
Is it really to much to ask for just a little bit of happy sunshine???
Anyways, I'm in the studio tonight working on some more editing of guitar parts that we recorded over the last week or so.
It's coming along really well now....every time i hear the tracks as they develop from melodies and lyrics to full creations; I get even more excited!
I can't wait to show everyone what it is I have been working so hard on for the past 6+ months!

Seriously, he is flipping brilliant and has the imagination of a genious lol
So typical.......as i'm actually writing this, the "sky's of heaven" have opened up and wow can it pour out rain! haha
Must get on though, i'm here in the studio lounge in the middle of A. getting myself a nice warm cup of tea lol and B. catching up with my people at my Myspace Malaysia Fan site :-)

Where I Live......

Me again,

I live in Hertfordshire which for those of you who don't know, is about 30-40 mins away from London via train.
Someone once told me that the town next to us, happens to be the furthest point from coastland or sea in the whole of the UK!!!!
I really miss the beach, that's the trouble when you're in the studio for soooo many months at a time (Not that i'm ungrateful or complaining)... It's just that you can feel so confined in your own surroundings, that sometimes you just wana get on a place and fly away somewhere! lol
The pic at the top is when i travelled up to Middlesbrough, not exactly spain; but the beach there was really relaxing.
Not sure what it is about the sea, but It has such a calming and refreshing presence....
haha I sound like I'm in need of counselling! lol
Anyways, it's like 22:40pm in the UK and i still have lots of people to reply to on myspace!!!!!!

The Start Of Something New

Hey everyone,
You're probably thinking that it's either my management or a member of staff representing Charlie Rose who's behind this all...
Well, then you'll be pleased to know that it's not! lol
I decided to create this diary blog thing, because so many of you on mypace, tagworld and yahoo etc....are always asking me to tell you more about myself as a person.
So I thought on here, I would share with you a softer side to the Real "Charlie Rose", let you in on some of the things I find difficult and challenging in my line of work; and also during my every day life.
I hope in reading these blogs that I have written, will in turn show you that I'm just like everyone else.

(Oh and yes, that Is a picture of me bowling, and i did quite well acually! haha)
